History of Basketball

1. Who invented basketball?

    -James Naismith invented basketball

2. Where?

    -It started on the YMCA in Springfield,Massachusetts 

3.  When?

     -He invented at the year 1892

4. How?

     -He nailed two buckets at each end of a wall and used a soccer ball

5.  Why?

     -His interests of physical education and Christian ministry

6. What were the circumstances at the beginning?

     -To created a game that has a physical education

7. What was it like at the start?

     -The game paused while a man with a ladder retrieved the ball

8. What type of shots were done?

     - They toss the ball they would put it between their legs and shoot

9. How is basketball different today than first started?

     - In the old day there used to be 9 player and peach baskets and have to pause the game to get the          ball
